How cancellation works
Once an application has been transmitted to U.S. CBP the processing work is complete. The rules below tell you exactly what happens to each line item on your receipt.
| Stage | Service Fee | Government Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Before submission to CBP | Refundable | Refundable |
| After submission, before CBP decision | Non-refundable | Per CBP rules |
| After CBP decision (approved or denied) | Non-refundable | Non-refundable |
- Email us with your application reference and the email used at checkout.
- We confirm the current submission state and tell you what is refundable.
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method.
Denied by CBP is not a cancellation. The processing work was performed and the government fee is consumed by U.S. CBP. A denial is a decision, not a cancellation, and is therefore not refundable.
