How to check your application status
Status updates are issued by U.S. CBP. We pass them on as soon as they are available. Approval, denial, and timing are all decisions made by U.S. CBP — we cannot guarantee any outcome or expedite government processing.
- Application reference number (sent to your email after submission)
- Passport number used on the application
- Email address used at checkout
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Transmitted to U.S. CBP. Awaiting decision. |
| Authorization Approved | Cleared to travel under the Visa Waiver Program. |
| Travel Not Authorized | U.S. CBP did not approve. A traditional visa may be required. |
| Pending | U.S. CBP is reviewing. No action required. |

- Click the status link, or reply to the email with your reference number.
- If the email is missing, send us a request — see "Lost your reference?" below.
Email us with your full name, date of birth, passport number, and approximate submission date. We will locate the record and reply with your status.
